【Ended】Everyone’s Stones Exhibition

July 19, 2023 – August 31, 2023

Mountains, Rivers, and Oceans…When we look around nature, we see “stones” under our feet. “Stones” are familiar clues to understanding geology.

This exhibition introduces “stones” that can be seen in Niigata Geoparks: Itoigawa, Sado, and Naeba-sanroku Geoparks. The exhibition also introduces the results of research conducted by Niigata University on “stones”.

During the exhibition, a stamp rally will be held at Niigata University facilities and Geoparks in the prefecture, and original gifts will be given away. Let’s experience the story of earth and geology hidden in “stones” together.
