Great Earthquake and Niigata University

June 1, 2024 – August 25, 2024

This year marks the 60th anniversary of the 1964 Niigata Earthquake and the 20th anniversary of the 2004 Mid-Niigata Earthquake. This exhibition will showcase Niigata University’s role in the region following these earthquakes and consider how the university and the region can work together in the event of another disaster.
